DOWN THE MOUNTAINS
It’s party time again on ABC and in the mountains. The Almabtrieb of the shepherds and shepherdesses with their cows in autumn is an old tradition and magnificent spectacle…. Their bells accompany us along gurgling mountain streams and beautiful scenery back to the valley.
Not afraid of heights? Then climb along to the top of the world and meet rock formations with faces, cairns or perhaps the mystical yeti. This time, the entire ABC House is dedicated to the mountains, which also inspired numerous artists and philosophers with their scenic views and panoramas.
After your extended walk over the mountain peaks, you can quietly descend to the creche café, a kamishibai storytelling session or the tunnel trail….

Culinary discovery tour
Saturday 07/10 from 2 pm to 4 pm
For children from 8 years old
Our house alchemist Nick Trachet has his fingers in the rice pudding this time and keeps us sweet with late summer fruits.

Kamishibai storytelling
7/10 and 8/10, multiple storytelling moments
Balancing on a seesaw is not at all as boring as it seems. There are those days when you have the most amazing adventures on it… Come listen to the kamishibai version of “De Wip” and many other stories!
You will find our storyteller with the bike on Place Gaucheret or in the kamishibai room in the ABC House.

Water Analysis Workshop
Saturday 7/10 and Sunday 8/10

Smart Water is a collective project that invites everyone to participate in monitoring and mapping the water quality of ponds and rivers in Brussels.
Bring a little water from a pond, puddle or river in your own neighborhood in a jar. In this workshop you can analyze the water sample in a playful way and learn more about the quality of the water feature you have chosen.

Atelier Leon

Whether you are an experienced dancer or entering the dance floor for the first time, whether you are eight years old or in the late summer of your life, Leon welcomes everyone with open arms.
At Atelier Leon, the physical conversation comes alive and little by little a (temporary) community forms. You dance under the guidance of choreographer Seppe Baeyens, with live music by Stef Heeren and Saïf Al-Qaysi.
